Type AV2M Skiving Machines

The AV2 M skiving machines are machines for chamfering on resistant materials with a thickness not exceeding 2 mm.
They are normally supplied with a sheet metal cabinet.
They can also be equipped with a lubrication system for the processing of thermoplastic material (S.LUB. – code 2671 C ).
The reduced rotation speed of the knife allows to avoid overheating of the blade and therefore to keep the cutting edge longer.
The leather chamfering machines and buttresses with a maximum thickness of 2 mm. they are available in the following versions:
AV2 C : AV2M1 head only
: on sheet metal cabinet with single motor for transport and blade and independent grinding wheel motor. The machine has a fixed transport speed and blade.
AV2M2 : on sheet metal cabinet with two independent motors for transport and blade and independent grinding wheel motor. The machine has a fixed transport speed and blade, but it is possible, for particular processes (slabs), to invert the direction of rotation of the blade.
AV2M3 : on sheet metal cabinet with two independent motors for transport and blade, independent grinding wheel motor and electronic speed variator on the transport motor
AV2M3K: on sheet metal cabinet with two independent motors for transport and blade both with electronic speed regulator, independent grinding wheel motor. Possibility of further reduction of the blade rotation speed for cutting binder and rubbery materials.
